New Features

 Vertical Measure Selection
 Staff Name Dialog
There are several enhancements to the Staff
Name dialog. You can now have up to five lines
in a staff name, and you can control the
	placement of the name
 Flatten Beams command.
The Flatten Beams command changes angled
beams so that they run in a straight,
	horizontal line.
 Marks command
The Marks command lets you select two or more
notes, then add accents, trills, or other
symbols to all the notes you selected.
 "Intelligent" Marks
Previously, when you added a mark by clicking
a note, it appeared above the note. If you
wanted to add the mark below the note, you
would hold the Control key while you clicked.

The marks are now more intelligent. If you
add a mark with the Marks command or by
clicking it on a note, the note automatically
appears in its proper position. If you then
flip the note stem, the mark flips also,
	if necessary.
 Barline Types command
Adding and changing barline types has become
more flexible with the addition of two new
options in the Barline Types dialog. Now
you can apply a barline type to each measure
in a selected range. You can also select
non-adjacent measures and apply barline types
	to them.
Changing stem heights for beamed notes.
You can select beamed notes and change their
stem heights in the Change Note Attribute
	dialog.
 Text Box Properties
You can add an outline to a text box and
	change several of its properties.
 Refresh Score Command
Previously, the Refresh Score command was only
available on the Toolbar. It is now available
on the View menu, as well.
 Staff Sheet Window
The Staff Sheet window will now stay on the
screen when you click the score. It minimizes
or closes only when you tell it to.
Using the Right Mouse Button with Palettes
You can easily choose another floating tool
palette by using the right mouse button. Click
the button anywhere in a palette, then make a
choice from the menu that appears.
